How to put on the Armor of God

Last night I could not sleep peacefully due to spiritual warfare. I prayed and then asked the Holy Spirit what could I do (meaning to stop this (the attacks)?

This is what He said to me.

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal." 2 Cor 10:4. "Put on the armor of God." Eph 6:11, 13

So then I asked, "how do I do this? Can you give me some specific actions to take?

So He says, the following:

1. Sit quietly in My presence. (Psa 37:7)

2. Open your sword. (Eph 6:17-18)

3. Walk in My ways-Righteousness (Matt 11:29)

4. Say what I say--Use My words. (John 12:49)

5. Be humble at all times. (Col 3:12)

6. Watch what you say. (Psa 141:3)

7. Trust in Me, the Lord Thy God. (Psa 115:11)

8. Do not stray. (Romans 12:2) Do not be frightened (Isa 41:10) for the Kingdom of God is at hand. (Mark 1:15)

9. Think only of the things in Heaven. (Col 3:2)

10. Always have a posture of praise and worship. (Psa 100:4)

11. Listen to my sent ones as they follow Christ. (1 Cor 11:1) (Acts 2:42)

And He did the sweetest thing while He was giving me this list. He paused between each line until I finished writing. So considerate!

This was just too good for me to keep to myself. I know that I'm going to put this checklist into practice. Will you?
